Businesses wishing to use the “Made in Humboldt” brand in conjunction with their products, or to be included on the HumboldtMade.com website, should first determine if the brand identity fits with their marketing approach and company values. Logo usage and website features require a juried decision made by current brand participants.

Graphics and photography related to the brand are available for use by participating businesses.

Some ideas for using the brand and tools:

  1. Utilize some aspect of the photography, keywords, themes, points of pride
  2. Be featured in the entrepreneur/product profiles
  3. Product photography featured on HumboldtMade.com website
  4. Use seal/logo on brochures/paper marketing materials
  5. Use seal/logo/wordmark on the company website
  6. Use videos on website, at tradeshows, and/or on DVDs that are given out.
  7. Business Testimonials about doing business in Humboldt County: why they love Humboldt County; why they choose to live and create excellent products here; attributes of local support by Humboldt County, organizations, other businesses, consumers, restaurants, markets, other food or beverage producers, etc.
  8. Reciprocal linking to the HumboldtMade.com website.
  9. Name, business name or logo on videos
  10. Name, business name or logo on HumboldtMade.com website.
  11. Acknowledgement of participation and endorsement of the Made in Humboldt campaign in the media.
  12. Tag your outgoing emails with www.youtube.com/humboldtmade to share our videos.
  13. Tag your outgoing emails with our website: www.HumboldtMade.com. 
  14. Send your friends to HumboldtMade on Facebook.
  15. Follow HumboldtMade on Twitter.
