Tommy Hernandez is the owner and creative force behind Homeboldt Apparel, a Humboldt-based apparel brand known for its bold, screen-printed designs created in collaboration with his dad and other local artists. Tommy’s work celebrates community, creativity, and local culture — whether he’s hand-printing jackets inspired by the natural beauty of the region or partnering with neighborhood organizations to bring art to life on clothing.

A dedicated organizer and connector, Tommy brings his entrepreneurial spirit to every project, helping to plan and support events that uplift local artists and makers across the North Coast. His deep ties to the community and passion for creative collaboration make him a natural fit for our board, where his perspective will help strengthen relationships between makers, businesses, and the broader creative ecosystem.

Outside of his work with Homeboldt Apparel, Tommy is a proud father of seven children, a lifelong Humboldt resident, and someone who believes in showing up — for his family, his neighbors, and the creative community he calls home.
