The largest natural products expo in the country!

Natural Products Expo West is one of the largest trade shows for the natural, organic, and healthy products industry. Held annually in Anaheim, California, the event brings together thousands of emerging brands, retailers, buyers, distributors, investors, and industry leaders from around the world. For growing businesses, it’s an opportunity to introduce their products to a national audience, make valuable industry connections, learn about emerging trends, and see how their brand measures up in a highly competitive marketplace.

In 2026, we took 5 Humboldt Made businesses to Natural Products Expo West.

The team at Humboldt Made wrote a grant that was awarded to us by the Headwaters Fund to help subsidize the cost of exhibiting for our members.

The cost to exhibit at Expo West can be upwards of 10k dollars. With the help of this grant, we were able to subsidize the cost of the booths for all 4 emerging brands (Shroomworks, Nonna Lena’s, Jersey Scoops, and Matka Pierogi) for the main show where we had a collaborative booth 20’ long.

We were also able to subsidize half the cost of the booth for HumYum, Shroomworks, and Ohana Organics to sample in the Organic Tent on the first day.

In addition to subsidizing the cost of the booths, we were also able to subsidize part of the cost of designing and printing materials like table covers, banners, and a product catalog for buyers to take.

This opportunity was open to our members who have not yet exhibited at a trade show. Members applied and the Humboldt Made BOD determined which members would attend based on criteria around readiness to scale.

2026 Highlights!

In addition to the businesses we brought down to exhibit, we also had these custom made shelves from Fairborn Tools, to display another 17 Humboldt Made businesses.

This was a low-lift opportunity for brands to get on the show floor and be seen by 50k+ people.

Participation in this display also included a 2 page spread in our Humboldt Made product catalog that was given out to buyers.
